The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will support the full end-to-end accounts payable process, handling a high volume of invoices within a dynamic and systems-driven environment. Working as part of a larger, collaborative finance team, you will liaise closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, and queries are resolved in a timely manner. Responsibilities will include invoice processing, preparing and executing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, supporting month-end close, and contributing to ongoing process and system improvements. The ability to adapt quickly, work at pace, and maintain high attention to detail is essential.

Ideally, you will:

• Have previous experience in an accounts payable role, managing high volumes of invoices within a fast-moving environment.
• Be highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a growing business.
• Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, confidently working with suppliers and internal teams across the organisation.
• Be comfortable using modern accounting systems and technology, with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and processes.
