Overview

Our client, a Leisure and holiday village based in Stratford-Upon-Avon, are actively searching for an all-round Accounts Assistant to join their rapidly growing operation. This role is to support the Financial Controller to modernise the accounting procedures and processes. You will add immediate value to implement Sales Ledger processes, updating all current data onto Sage, conducting the necessary reconciliation in order to do so. You will provide ongoing support with all month end procedures too, up to and including Management Accounts.

Skills required

  • Be fully AAT qualified, with a supplementary two years’ experience in an all-round transactional accounts, or Sales Ledger position.
  • Be a driver with their own car as the village is not accessible by public transport.
  • Have the drive to succeed in a position that will organically evolve over the next three years.
  • Hold experience using Sage, although this is preferred and not a prerequisite.
