Accounts Assistant

Our well-established client is currently offering an excellent opportunity to join their finance team as an Accounts Assistant. They are seeking an experienced individual to provide key support during an exciting period of growth. This role is ideally suited to someone who is immediately available and keen to contribute from day one while gaining exposure to a range of ongoing projects within the business.

This position would suit a candidate with a solid accounting background who is looking to further develop their skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively liaise with and support senior stakeholders across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include invoice verification, statement reconciliations, bank postings, end-to-end credit control, and debt chasing.

Ideally, you will:

• Have previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role, with exposure to Credit Control and Accounts Receivable.
• Possess intermediate Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data.
• Be capable of working independently and consistently meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
