Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting function and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained. The role offers broad exposure across the finance function, including involvement in month-end and management accounts preparation, with regular interaction with senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a proactive approach, comfortable liaising with colleagues and external contacts, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. As an Assistant Accountant, you will support month-end processes, assist in the preparation of management accounts, carry out balance sheet reconciliations, and help maintain accurate and compliant financial records across a diverse and fast-paced operation.

Skills and experience required

  • Proven experience in a Finance or Accounts role, with exposure to month-end processes and reconciliations.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and take ownership of tasks, while identifying and supporting process improvements.
