This Accounts Assistant position is ideally suited to someone with a solid background in transnational accounting who is looking to further develop their skills within a stable and professional environment.

Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting function and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained. The role offers broad exposure across the finance function, with regular interaction with senior stakeholders and involvement in month-end processes.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a proactive approach, comfortable liaising with colleagues and external contacts, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. As an Accounts Assistant, you will support month-end processes, assist with the preparation of financial reports, and help maintain accurate accounting records across a varied portfolio.

Skills and experience required

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant covering both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and take ownership of tasks, as well as looking at process improvements.
