The successful Accounts Assistant will have excellent time management and organisational skills to assist with purchase ledger invoices and payment processing, as well as help with month-end accounting tasks. You will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to, supporting audit processes, maintaining accurate accounting records, performing regular bank reconciliations, and posting necessary corrections.
Ideally, you will:
- Have previous experience in finance, supporting month end duties and maintaining a ledger, using Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Possess strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate financial data.
- Demonstrate good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, handle queries and liaise with stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset to improve processes of financial operations when there is an opportunity.
