This construction company is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. Based in their stunning offices in Birmingham, this role is ideal for a confident individual who is keen to contribute their hard work ethic to the team’s collaborative culture. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role sits within a great team of ambitious like-minded individuals who enjoy having a laugh as much as they enjoy exceeding KPIs and driving the business foward into continual success

This role will involve a range of duties from maintaining CIS records, processing and raising invoices, to reconciling bank accounts and supplier accounts, and assisting with month end. Within this role you will have many opportunities to expand on your skill set and knowledge within accounts further, collaborating with other departments, assisting in ad hoc duties and working alongside senior finance levels. If you’re keen to get in a role where you can roll up your sleeves and get involved in the team, bringing your own skills and knowledge that you’ve acquired to date in your career and developing them further, then this could be the perfect opportunity!

What you will need:

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong work ethic, able to excel in an autonomous and collaborative working environment.
  • Whilst not essential, it is advantageous if you prior experience working with CIS.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with accounts payable and receivable duties is essential.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills to excel at liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers and clients.
