Accounts Assistant

In this Accounts Assistant role, you’ll gain valuable experience and continue to grow with the business, all while working in a rewarding and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong understanding of core accounting tasks such as invoice processing, ledger management, and reconciliations. You will be responsible for completing financial statements, including year-end close downs and cooperation Tax returns for multiple different businesses. You will work within a team of like-minded individuals who all play a key role in providing the best financial support for their external clients. You will have great communication skills and organisational skills to provide the best service to all clients and stakeholders.

Skills required:

• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role, including Tax returns, month end and year end processes.
• Beneficially you will be working towards or have already completed levels of your AAT.
• Confident communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across the business and resolve queries with suppliers professionally.
• A positive and driven attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role and the wider company.
• Good working knowledge of accounting systems such as XERO and Microsoft Excel to come in and hit the ground running.
