Overview

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Accounts Assistant position in a globally working business, based in Solihull! This role will provide one-on-one training with qualified and experienced Accountants, a direct progression route into Management Accounts and full study support towards the ACCA or CIMA! This is a fantastic opportunity and we are looking for a confident and personable candidate with 2 years of experience in Purchase Ledger to take it on!

The Accounts Assistant will be managing the Purchase Ledger for three international entities as well as some elements of Sales Ledger. They will be working closely with the Finance Manager to post journals in line with Month End and, as they progress in the role, get involved with financial reporting, cash flows and forecasting! The team are a lively and friendly bunch, we are looking for a confident character that wants to get involved with them and stay for years to come!

Skills Required

  • The successful Accounts Assistant must have 2 years of experience in Purchase Ledger in order to hit the ground running with elements of the role!
  • We are looking for a confident and friendly character that wants to get stuck in with the team!
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will be a confident user of Microsoft Excel as this will be used on a daily basis!
  • We are specifically looking for a candidate that wants to stay for years to come and learn and grow with the business!
