We are currently recruiting for a truly fabulous and booming business based in Birmingham City Centre! We are on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work alongside the Management Accountant and the Head of Finance to ensure smooth running of the finance department! We are specifically looking for a candidate with previous experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger that can hit the ground running in this fantastic position!

The successful Accounts Assistant will be trusted to maintain the Transactional Accounts processes within the business. Duties will include invoice processing, bank and statement reconciliations, managing staff expenses and chasing some outstanding payments. As this is a well-rounded and varied role our client is anticipating a candidate will all-round experience! The business is bustling and ever-growing as well as very social! Therefore, we are looking for a confident candidate with amazing communication skills that would like to stay with this business for years to come.

Skills Required

  • Due to the nature of this role, previous experience in both Purchase and Sales Ledger is essential!
  • We are looking for a confident character, this role will include liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business!
  • Exposure to Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel would be ideal as these systems will be used on a daily basis!
  • This business invests in its staff they are hoping for the Accounts Assistant to stay with them long-term and really immerse themselves into the culture!
