Mitchell Adam are delighted to announce their collaboration with a multi-national organisation, who are looking to expand their Birmingham city centre branch by hiring an energetic and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant, one who is ready and able to start working immediately. The role consists of completing your duties to an efficient and effective standard. These duties include but are not limited to, overseeing invoice control, maintaining the company’s debtor book as well as supporting a senior Accounting Assistant. Your existing experience will be used and improved in the duration of this role.

Skills required

  • To be immediately available or on a one week notice period, with a strong level of existing experience and knowledge of an Accounting role.
  • Communication skills, this role relies on working and collaborating with various stakeholders, including suppliers and supervisors.
  • To be an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel is desired due to the tendency to use this software in the role.
  • Intuition, to be a fantastic Accounts Assistant, one must have an ability to be proactive, as well as professional.
