What is required

We are looking for a confident and capable Finance Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, support the development of the wider team and ensure financial information is accurate, timely and meaningful.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, providing clear commentary on financial performance.

  • Taking responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

  • Maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring strong financial controls are in place.

  • Managing and supporting the finance team, helping to develop individuals and improve overall efficiency.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, systems and reporting procedures.

  • Supporting year-end accounts preparation and liaising with external auditors.

  • Providing financial analysis to support commercial decisions and future business planning.

Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), although strong qualified-by-experience candidates will also be considered.

You will have previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar role, with a solid understanding of management accounts, financial controls and budgeting.

Above all, we are looking for someone who is approachable, proactive and happy to get stuck in. You should enjoy working collaboratively, building relationships across a business and taking responsibility for your own workload.

What you will receive

  • A competitive salary of £55,000 – £65,000.

  • A broad and varied role with genuine ownership and responsibility.

  • The opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence business decisions.

  • A friendly, supportive working environment where your contribution will be valued.

  • The chance to develop a finance team and implement meaningful improvements.

  • Long-term stability within an established organisation.
