Assistant Management Accountant

With a hands-on approach and a close working relationship between finance and the wider operation, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their accounting career.

The business is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant who already has experience supporting month-end and management accounts and is ready to take on greater responsibility. Working directly with the Finance Director, you’ll have a clear opportunity to develop towards a Management Accountant position, gaining broader exposure to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You’ll also be involved in wider business discussions, helping inform decisions and contributing to the company’s ongoing development.

Skills Needed

• Experience supporting month-end and management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and financial reporting.

• Strong Excel skills, including building formulas from scratch, with Power BI experience would be beneficial.

• Relevant sector experience, particularly involving stock management and analysis, would be beneficial.

• Confident communication skills, with the ability to work alongside the Finance Director and engage with colleagues across the wider business.
