Accounts Assistant

A forward-thinking and highly regarded professional services business is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Assistant to join its collaborative finance team. Working closely with experienced members of the finance team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience across a broad range of finance responsibilities while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills. Responsibilities will include processing invoices, assisting with bank reconciliations, supporting accounts payable and receivable, preparing journals, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end processes, reconciling balance sheet accounts, supporting management accounts preparation, and working closely with senior finance professionals on a variety of finance projects. This role offers excellent exposure within a fast-paced professional services environment, providing the perfect opportunity for someone with existing finance experience to continue developing their career.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment, across purchase ledger and sales ledger.

• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately reconcile financial information.

• A confident, professional, and personable approach with excellent communication skills in order to work in a highly client facing role.

• A hardworking attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine ambition to build a successful career within finance and accountancy.
