Assistant Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are pleased to be working with a well-established international wholesale and distribution business based in Birmingham. The business has a strong presence across the UK and overseas markets and is now looking to strengthen its finance function with the appointment of an Assistant Management Accountant.

This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit and supportive finance team, where you’ll work closely with experienced members of the department and have the opportunity to develop your skills across both transactional finance and month-end accounting.

The role would suit someone who has gained a good grounding in finance and is now looking for a position where they can take on more responsibility, broaden their experience and progress towards a Management Accountant position

Skills needed:

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, with a genuine interest in continuing your studies

• Previous experience supporting month-end and management accounts

• Experience within e-commerce or wholesale/distribution would be beneficial, particularly exposure to Amazon and stock

• Someone who is keen to learn, develop and progress within a supportive team environment
