Assistant Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established international wholesale and distribution business based in Birmingham. With a varied customer base across the UK and overseas markets, the business continues to develop and offers a broad finance environment with plenty of opportunity for progression.

They are now looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team. This is a progressive opportunity for someone who has built a solid foundation in transactional finance and month-end accounting and is now looking to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll gain increasing exposure to management accounts and month-end reporting, with the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and progress into a Management Accountant position over time.

Skills Needed

• AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA with the interest to continuing and progressing with your studies.

• Previous experience supporting month-end and management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and P&L reporting.

• Experience within e-commerce accounting, ideally including Amazon and stock accounting.

• Good transactional finance experience, including purchase invoices, ledgers, reconciliations and general finance processes.
