Finance Assistant

You may already have some experience within an administrative or finance environment or simply be looking for your first opportunity to develop a long-term career within Finance. The business is primarily looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn. Working as part of a friendly and collaborative finance team, you will receive support and guidance from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to a range of day-to-day accounting processes. You will assist with the processing of purchase invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, allocating payments, and supporting with supplier and customer queries. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to bank and account reconciliations.

Skills Required

• Some previous experience within an office, administration, customer service, or finance environment would be beneficial, although extensive finance experience is not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work, with the ability to handle information accurately and identify any discrepancies or errors.
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career within Finance and Accounting, with the ambition and motivation to continually develop your knowledge and skills.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with the confidence to ask questions, take ownership of tasks, and contribute positively to a collaborative team.
