Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established business with a strong presence within its industry. We are now recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance function in a varied position covering both month-end and year-end accounting activities.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your accounting experience, supporting key reporting processes while working alongside experienced finance professionals. You’ll gain a strong understanding of the wider finance function and have the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a supportive environment.
Skills Needed
- Currently studying towards, or keen to pursue, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, with previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
- Experience across bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and sales ledger.
- Good Excel skills and experience using financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
