Overview
Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded professional services business based in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join their expanding commercial finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a finalist or newly qualified accountant looking to step away from a purely reporting-focused position and into a role where finance genuinely influences strategic decision-making. Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, you’ll gain exposure to senior leadership while developing into a trusted commercial partner across the business.
This role sits at the centre of financial planning, performance analysis and commercial decision support, giving you the opportunity to work closely with senior operational stakeholders to help shape budgets, forecasts and long-term business plans. Rather than simply reporting on performance, you’ll be encouraged to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and provide meaningful financial insight that supports investment decisions, operational improvements and future growth. The position offers an excellent blend of Finance Business Partnering and FP&A, making it ideal for someone looking to build a well-rounded commercial finance career.
Alongside regular interaction with senior stakeholders, you’ll play an important role in improving reporting, planning processes and financial visibility across the business. You’ll contribute to strategic projects, develop financial models to support investment decisions and help drive continuous improvement across the finance function. With exceptional mentoring, genuine progression opportunities and a culture that encourages development, this role offers an outstanding platform for someone looking to accelerate their career within commercial finance.
