Newly Qualified Finance Manager

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and commercially focused organisation who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to strengthen their growing finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant or Finance Manager looking to step into a broader role, combining technical reporting, financial control and genuine business partnering across a complex operational environment.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the quality and delivery of monthly financial reporting, reviewing management accounts, analysing performance and providing clear commentary around key movements and trends. You will play an important role in ensuring financial information is accurate, insightful and supports decision-making, while also working closely with operational stakeholders to understand performance and drive improvements.

Beyond reporting, you will have responsibility across financial controls, compliance and process improvement, helping to strengthen the finance function as the business continues to evolve. You will support the development of the management accounting team, improve reporting processes and work with stakeholders across the organisation, making this a role suited to someone who enjoys variety, influence and adding value beyond traditional month-end.

Skills Needed

* Strong experience within management accounting, financial reporting or a Finance Manager position.
* Confident reviewing management accounts, analysing P&L performance and presenting financial commentary.
* Strong understanding of balance sheet controls, reconciliations and financial governance.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence non-finance teams.
* Experience improving processes, developing reporting and supporting the growth of finance teams.
