Management Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected professional services business to recruit a Management Accountant into their growing outsourced finance division. This opportunity is perfect for an ambitious accountant looking to apply their management accounting expertise across a diverse portfolio of property clients, gaining exposure that simply isn’t available within a single business.

Working as part of a specialist team, you’ll produce full monthly management accounts, prepare detailed P&L and balance sheet reporting and deliver insightful variance analysis across multiple client entities. You’ll quickly develop an in-depth understanding of each client’s business, becoming their trusted finance contact and ensuring reporting supports both operational and strategic decision-making.

Beyond month-end, you’ll work closely with clients to explain financial performance, identify trends and recommend improvements to reporting processes. The breadth of exposure makes this an ideal role for someone who enjoys technical accounting but also wants to develop stronger commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills within a professional advisory environment.

Skills Needed

• Experience producing full management accounts from trial balance through to final reporting.
• Strong understanding of P&L reporting, balance sheets and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting financial information to clients.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified with ambitions to continue progressing professionally.
