Payroll Analyst

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a proactive and analytical approach, comfortable working with large volumes of data and managing multiple priorities to strict deadlines. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for processing payroll inputs, performing detailed reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, supporting year-end activities, and ensuring payroll data remains accurate and up to date.

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience within a payroll function, with a strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, statutory payments, deductions, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Experience performing payroll reconciliations, identifying discrepancies, and implementing effective resolutions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, lookups, and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
