Accounts Assistant

The successful candidate for this role will require strong interpersonal skills as you will need to liaise with the wider finance function to assist with a variety of both financial and administrative tasks to help ensure smooth financial operations within the business. In this role you will be tasked with various responsibilities within the Accounts Payable and Credit Control function, this will include; processing invoices, reconciling accounts, assist with payment runs, supporting the credit control team and bits of exposure to month-end duties. This is an amazing role that offers great exposure to different parts of finance and will overall develop or further enhance your accounts knowledge and experience. This role is perfect for an organised and motivated individual who is looking to join a business and make an impact from day get go.

Skills required:

• A strong background within the finance function ideally with prior experience within an Accounts Assistant role but this is desirable rather the essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you to liaise with the different teams both inside and outside of finance as well as confidently communicating with high-profile stakeholders of the business.
• Intermediate user of MS Excel, capable of manipulating data from spreadsheets.
• A proactive and hard-working mindset but also have a willingness to learn new methods and systems.
