FP&A Analyst

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded professional services business based in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst to support one of their key divisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified finance professional to step into a forward-looking, commercially focused role within a structured and high-performing environment.

Supporting the business partnering team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will be responsible for producing detailed analysis, variance commentary, and KPI reporting, helping stakeholders understand financial performance, cost drivers, and areas of opportunity.

Alongside core reporting responsibilities, you will work closely with non-finance stakeholders, supporting decision-making through clear and meaningful financial insight. This role offers strong exposure to business partnering and ongoing strategic projects, providing an excellent platform for someone looking to build a long-term career within FP&A.

Skills Needed

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting within a finance role.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills, with experience handling data and financial models.
• Confident communicator, able to translate financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
• Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
