Finance Manager

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and values-driven organisation, who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to take ownership of a broad remit, combining operational delivery with exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will lead the month-end process and deliver a full suite of management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting, supported by clear analysis and commentary. You will also take responsibility for budgeting and forecasting, working with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure financial plans are robust, accurate and aligned to business objectives.

Alongside core reporting, you will manage and develop a small finance team while acting as a key point of contact across the organisation. The role also includes oversight of financial controls, audit preparation, and ongoing process and systems improvements, ensuring the finance function operates efficiently and remains compliant.

Skills Needed

• Experience producing full management accounts with strong P&L, balance sheet and cashflow exposure
• Confident managing month-end processes, financial controls and audit preparation
• Experience supporting and developing junior finance staff
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
