Client Accounting Lead

Mitchell Adam are proud to be supporting a leading Property Management business in the appointment of a Client Accounting Leader, a senior position suited to an experienced professional looking to take ownership of both client delivery and team performance. This role sits at the centre of a key client relationship, combining technical oversight, stakeholder management and leadership responsibility within a high-performing and well-structured environment.

Acting as the primary finance contact for a major client, you will oversee the delivery and quality of all reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to agreed service levels. You will take a lead role in managing complex queries, reviewing outputs and maintaining strong financial controls, while also guiding and developing a team of client accountants. Working closely with senior management, you will contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes, client experience and team capability, ensuring the function continues to operate at a high standard.

Skills Needed

• Strong background in client or property accounting, with experience overseeing complex portfolios.
• Proven ability to deliver and review management accounts, budgets, forecasts and reconciliations.
• Established experience managing stakeholder relationships and leading discussions with senior clients.
• Demonstrable leadership capability, with experience supporting, mentoring or managing others.
