Credit Controller

This established business, is looking to strengthen its finance team by hiring a motivated, proactive, and personable Credit Controller who is keen to be part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit control process, including monitoring customer accounts, chasing outstanding debt, allocating cash, and resolving account queries.

You will be driven and demonstrate a strong understanding of credit control processes, with the confidence to manage a busy ledger and maintain strong cash collection performance. Working closely with internal departments and external customers, you will manage multiple queries across a high-volume workload, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining excellent customer relationships. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers, managing expectations and delivering a high level of service.

Skills required

• Previous experience in a Credit Control role, including managing a customer ledger, chasing overdue payments, and resolving account queries.
• Professional experience using Excel with knowledge of VLOOKUps and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
• The ability to work efficiently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet targets and deadlines.
