Accounts Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a confident and motivated Accounts Assistant to join a growing service provider based in Birmingham City Centre. As the business continues to expand and take on new clients, the finance team is looking for a proactive individual to support the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience or who has recently gradated, who is looking to further develop their skills within a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will play an important role in supporting the wider finance team, assisting with invoice processing, query resolution and maintaining accurate financial records, while building strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, helping to ensure the finance function runs effectively while contributing ideas to improve processes as the company continues to grow.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience or knowledge of all areas of transnational finance including both accounts payable & accounts receivable
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
• A proactive approach with the ability to suggest improvements to processes where appropriate
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
