Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious and rapidly expanding logistics business based in Wolverhampton, who are looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Accountant into a progressive and broad finance role. This opportunity is perfectly suited to a recently qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant, with strong finalists also encouraged to apply, who is keen to step into a role offering responsibility, visibility and long-term progression. Operating within a fast-moving logistics environment, the business continues to invest in growth, making this an excellent platform for an ambitious accountant looking to broaden their commercial exposure while developing their position.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will take full ownership of the monthly management accounts process, delivering detailed P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting while maintaining strong balance sheet control through reconciliations and review processes. You will support the budgeting and forecasting cycles, prepare consolidated reporting packs and performance dashboards for senior leadership, and work closely with operational teams to analyse cost, margin and operational performance across the group. As the business continues to expand its footprint, you will also have the opportunity to travel to partner with new and developing subsidiaries, helping implement finance processes, strengthen reporting structures and embed best practice across the wider group.
Skills Needed
* Newly qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant, with strong finalists also encouraged to apply.
* Strong technical grounding across management accounts production, balance sheet control and financial reporting.
* Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting or consolidated reporting within a commercial environment.
* Confident communicator who can partner with operational stakeholders and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
