Temporary to permanent Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk

This well-established and rapidly growing organisation are currently looking to expand their ever-growing finance team by hiring an experienced and proactive Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a key role within the business, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process and making sure that suppliers are accurately paid on time in a busy working environment.

You will be need to be confident in dealing with high volumes of invoices and be able to demonstrate an understanding of UK accounting procedures and VAT regulations. In this role you will take on duties such as statement reconciliations, query resolutions and supplier invoice processing. The successful candidate for this role will require strong interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with high-profile stakeholders of the business both internally and externally.

Skills required:

• A strong background in an Accounts Payable role allowing you to join the team and hit the ground running.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage priorities.
• Experience working with accountancy software’s like SAP, Sage or something similar.
• Be immediately available or have a shortened notice period.
