Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking not-for-profit who are seeking a School Finance Manager to oversee their day-to-day financial operations. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, from maintaining accurate financial records and managing reconciliations through to producing timely month-end reporting that supports informed decision-making.
Working closely with senior leaders and governors, you will play an important role in ensuring the school’s finances remain organised, compliant and transparent. Alongside core finance duties, you’ll contribute to budgeting processes, support financial planning and help provide clear, accessible reporting that adds genuine value across the community.
Skills Needed
- Previous experience within a finance role; education, charity or public sector exposure beneficial.
- Strong understanding of VAT processes including preparation and submission of returns.
- Confident managing ledgers, reconciliations and producing accurate management information.
- Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a varied environment.
