My client is an international corporate business with a large finance team based in the heart of Birmingham and they currently have a need for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of purchase invoices, performing supplier statement reconciliation, and dealing with queries. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join an impressive business on initially a temporary basis, although there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent depending on business needs.

Skills required:

  • A minimum of 2 year’s experience within an Accounts Payable role
  • The ability to travel to the city centre 3 days per week
  • Have excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers
  • Have a good command of MS Excel
