My client is a medium-sized family run business based in Dudley and they currently have a requirement for an experienced Accounts/Payroll Assistant to join their team on initially a temporary basis.

Working in a small and friendly finance function and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing support across all elements of transactional accounts including purchase ledger and sales ledger, and have the responsibility for processing company payroll on both a weekly and monthly basis.

Skills required:

  • Be immediately available and happy to commute to the office daily
  • Have experience in an Accounts Assistant role, ideally with experience processing payroll from start to finish
  • Be personable and a great communicator, able to build key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a strong command of MS Excel
