Finance Assistant

A growing and forward-moving organisation is seeking a Finance Assistant who is motivated, reliable, and approachable, with a strong foundation in finance. This role is ideal for someone with around three years’ experience who is ready to progress their career and gain broader exposure across a finance function. The role will involve responsibility across both purchase ledger and accounts receivable, providing well-rounded exposure within the finance department. Key duties include processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, managing customer accounts, allocating cash, raising sales invoices, assisting with credit control, and resolving supplier and customer queries. You will also support month-end processes and work closely with the PL and AR teams, reporting directly to the Management Accountant.

Ideally, you will:

• Have at least three years’ experience in a Finance or Accounts Assistant role. Previous experience within Accounts Receivable is advantageous; however, candidates who are eager to learn and develop in this area will also be considered.

• Be proactive, driven, and eager to progress your career within finance and accounting.

• Demonstrate strong organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Be a confident, approachable communicator who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
