Are you a recently qualified ACA looking for your next career move? Our client, a leading organisation based in Birmingham, is seeking a motivated and technically strong accountant with hands-on IFRS 16 experience to join their finance team from January.
The Role:
As an ACA Mover, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, balance sheet accuracy, and lease accounting under IFRS 16. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to month-end processes, and ensure compliance across key technical areas.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain IFRS 16 lease accounting processes

Support month-end and year-end reporting cycles

Assist with statutory reporting and audit requirements

Provide insight and analysis on lease-related impacts to financials

Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls
Ideal Candidate:

ACA-qualified, either newly qualified or with up to 2 years’ PQE
-
Strong understanding of IFRS 16 and technical accounting
-
Confident communicator who can partner with non-finance stakeholders

Available to start in January

Strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
