We’re looking for a proactive and organised Management Accountant on a 12 month FTC maternity contract, to start this January. You will manage the day-to-day finance operations during a maternity cover period. You’ll handle credit control, ledgers, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and month-end tasks, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth financial processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee credit control: issue invoices, chase payments, manage customer accounts.
  • Maintain sales and purchase ledgers in Sage50.
  • Process supplier invoices, payment runs, expenses, and remittances.
  • Complete daily/monthly bank reconciliations and support cashflow monitoring.
  • Assist with month-end tasks including journals, accruals, prepayments, and VAT returns with Finance Director.
  • Support payroll processing for UK and Philippines teams.
  • Maintain HR records and timesheets as required.

About you:

  • Experienced in finance, accounting, or credit control roles.
  • Confident using Sage50 and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience with management accounts and payroll.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Bright HR).
