We’re looking for a proactive and organised Management Accountant on a 12 month FTC maternity contract, to start this January. You will manage the day-to-day finance operations during a maternity cover period. You’ll handle credit control, ledgers, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and month-end tasks, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee credit control: issue invoices, chase payments, manage customer accounts.
- Maintain sales and purchase ledgers in Sage50.
- Process supplier invoices, payment runs, expenses, and remittances.
- Complete daily/monthly bank reconciliations and support cashflow monitoring.
- Assist with month-end tasks including journals, accruals, prepayments, and VAT returns with Finance Director.
- Support payroll processing for UK and Philippines teams.
- Maintain HR records and timesheets as required.
About you:
- Experienced in finance, accounting, or credit control roles.
- Confident using Sage50 and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with management accounts and payroll.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Bright HR).
