Outstanding progression to Financial Controller | Hands-on, high-growth environment

We’re recruiting a Management Accountant who’s ready to take ownership, grow quickly, and play a central role in a developing finance team. This position is ideal for someone newly qualified who wants clear, structured progression toward a Financial Controller role within 12-18 months.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate monthly accounts, analysing performance, and ensuring strong financial controls across the function. Alongside this, you’ll support wider commercial reporting, assist with forecasting and budgeting cycles, and help drive improvements to systems and processes.

The role also covers key operational finance areas-working across ledgers, reconciliations, payroll, and compliance-giving you a full 360° view of the finance function. You’ll guide junior team members, maintain good control over working capital, and ensure financial data is timely, accurate, and reliable.

What we’re looking for

• Newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent background

• Solid experience in management accounts and month-end delivery

• Strong understanding of transactional finance processes

• Comfortable working with payroll, PAYE, VAT and other compliance requirements

• Confident Excel user with exposure to modern finance systems

• Someone proactive, organised and able to communicate clearly across the business
