Accounts Payable Clerk

Our market-leading and reputable client based in Wolverhampton is currently dedicated to adding a new detail-focused and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to their growing finance team. The reason our client is looking to grow the team is due to the growth of the business and having new projects which you will get to be a part of.

As an Accounts Payable clerk, you will play an integral part in accurately maintaining and organising the purchase ledger. the successful candidate for this role will take on responsibilities such as processing and verifying supplier invoices, managing the payment runs regularly, resolve discrepancies efficiently, and provide support to the wider finance function helping to ensure smooth financial operations of the business.

Skills required

• Have strong experience within the Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger function working in a fast-paced environment, allowing you to join the team and hit the ground running.
• Have a keen eye for detail allowing you to spot and quickly resolve any discrepancies.
• Have exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you to liaise with the senior stakeholders of the business as well as provide support to the closer team.
• Have a problem-solving mindset allowing you to deal with any queries in an efficient manner.
