Client Accountant

Overview
Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and fast-growing Property Management business, based in Birmingham city centre, to recruit an experienced Client Accountant. As the company continues to expand its portfolio, this is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable finance professional to take ownership of their own set of clients and play a key role in delivering exceptional service.

You’ll be responsible for managing the full financial cycle across your property portfolio, preparing service charge reconciliations, setting and reviewing budgets, and completing monthly and quarterly reporting including P&L, balance sheets, accruals and prepayments. You’ll also build trusted relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders, acting as their account manager for all financial matters and ensuring accuracy and transparency across every transaction.

Skills Needed

• Solid experience working within property or client accounting, ideally within a managing agent environment.
• Confident preparing service charge accounts, budgets, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel and systems knowledge (experience with TRAMPS or similar would be advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, professional approach when dealing with clients and senior stakeholders.
