Bookkeeping Manager

Overview
Mitchell Adam are delighted to be working with a rapidly expanding Consulting business, who are searching for a proactive and ambitious Finance Manager / Bookkeeper to take full ownership of their finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, managing everything from day-to-day bookkeeping and VAT returns to producing full month-end management accounts, within a business that’s growing fast and values your input.

Working closely with the FD, you’ll play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy and driving efficiency. You’ll take charge of ledgers, reconciliations, and VAT submissions, prepare insightful management accounts, and support budgeting and forecasting to help steer commercial decisions. This role offers true variety, autonomy, and the chance to shape processes in a business where your ideas will be heard and your work will make an immediate impact.

Skills Needed

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts (QBE, AAT, or part-qualified).

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with modern accounting systems.

• A proactive and analytical mindset, always looking for smarter ways to work.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with senior leadership.
