Our client, a highly regarded Commercial Property client, based in stunning Birmingham City Centre offices, are looking to appoint a driven Client Accountant to join their growing finance team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a diverse property portfolio, preparing and delivering accurate financial reports across service charges, ground rents, sinking funds, VAT, and deposits. You’ll manage everything from accruals, prepayments, budgeting and forecasting through to variance analysis and commentary, presenting your work directly to clients to maintain strong and lasting relationships. No two days will be the same, and you’ll gain unrivalled insight into both financial reporting and the property sector.

Skills Needed

• Experience in Client or Service Charge Accounting is ideal, though strong client facing exposure will also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to present reports and build strong client relationships.
• A solid grounding in producing management information, including budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Adaptable, organised, and collaborative – able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
