My client is a retail business based in Solihull, and they are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team initially on a temporary basis, although this could become permanent.

Working in a medium-sized team and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide key support within the finance team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and various reconciliation duties. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive finance team with a realistic opportunity of the role becoming permanent.

Skills required:

  • Experience within transactional accounts including ideally purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control
  • Be available immediately or on a short notice period
  • Have excellent people skills with the ability to build great relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Have a good command of MS Excel
