We are a leading manufacturing business with a proud history and an exciting future. To support our continued growth and operational excellence, we are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Wolverhampton site.
About the role
This is a highly visible role within the plant, where you’ll work closely with operations and production teams to drive performance and deliver financial insight. You’ll be the link between finance and manufacturing, ensuring robust cost control, process efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities

Partner with manufacturing and operational teams to understand key drivers of performance.

Deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for the Wolverhampton site.

Analyse manufacturing performance, including variances, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Provide clear insight on stock, labour, materials usage, and overheads.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and investment appraisals.

Act as a trusted advisor to non-finance colleagues, bringing financial data to life.

Ensure compliance with group policies and contribute to month-end close processes.
About you

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing performance metrics.

Hands-on and proactive, with the ability to work closely with operational teams on the shop floor.

Commercially focused, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Confident communicator who can influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
