Our client based in Redditch is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their lovely team. They are one of the largest global retailers having dominated the market for decades. In this role you will play a key role to the continued success of the company, managing your own ledger and working as part of a team to ensure that all accounts payable processes are running smoothly. This role is ideal for a confident and well organised individual who demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills in order to excel at liaising with suppliers and resolving queries.
This position has a varied range of duties covering end to end accounts payable processed from processing invoices, reconciliations, handling queries, all the way to payment runs and assisting with month end. What you will need:
- Prior experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk position or similar role is ideal.
- Able to work autonomously and self-manage day to day to ensure smooth running of your ledger.
- Strong organisational skills with a track record of working with deadlines and meeting KPIs.
- Knowledge of Excel and accounting software such as Sage and Xero is ideal.
