My client is a long established Manufacturing business based in Birmingham and they currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a long term temporary basis.
Joining a small finance team, this varied role will include managing the purchase & sales ledgers, performing bank reconciliation and chasing debtors for payment. You will also assist with the preparation of the payroll and assist with any ad-hoc administration duties. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will join a friendly and supportive environment, where staff retention rates are excellent.
Skills required:
- An all round accounts background including experience of both purchase and sales ledgers
- Ideally have access to a car due to location
- Be able to work in the office full time
- Have a strong command of MS Excel
- Be immediately available or available on a short notice
