Our client, a well-established, retail, household name based in South Birmingham, is looking to welcome a driven Commercial Finance Analyst to their commercial accounts function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual eager to challenge the status quo, dive into big data and P&Ls, and deliver accurate, insightful analysis to drive business performance.

Reporting directly to the qualified, Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering multi-site variance analysis, across overheads, site and product performance. Your work will be instrumental in identifying and delivering operational improvements, backed by your big data and commentary to senior management. You’ll be collaborating closely with non-financial stakeholders and gain exposure to the business as a whole.

Skills Needed

• A proactive, results-oriented professional with the confidence to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements.
• Previous experience in analysing multi-line P&Ls and providing variance.
• Experience in a retail accounts environment is advantageous, but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills are essential, you should be comfortable with Pivot Tables, and familiarity with Macros would be a bonus.
